As our customer stated, they had a security system installed in a home in Caledonia, MI on July 17, 2015 by AMP Security , an authorized dealer of Guardian Protection. AMP is a separate and distinct company from Guardian. Guardian did provide our customer with some quotes for relocating his service, and also offered to apply his 13 payments in question to the new installation, but he has declined. This leaves our customer with the option to continue payments monthly until the remaining twenty-six months of his agreement term are paid, or to pay his $750.00 Early Termination Fee. Guardian has generously agreed to treating the 13 payments he made as installments to the $750.00 Early Termination Fee. To date our customer has paid $577.72 in monitoring fees after he sold the property.

How much does Guardian Protection cost?
In December of 2021, I called Guardian Security to cancel the service, as we were moving, we had fulfilled the original 2015 contract and it was no longer needed. I was informed that the company would be changing us $750 for early termination of the contract. I was also informed that the contract date was renewed for another 5 years in 2018, when the alarm system was moved. I stated that we didn't sign or receive a new contract and was never told that the contract had renewed for an additional 5 years.
I have a sensor by the stairs, and I know that if I happen to fall, they'll call me and verify that I'm okay. The alarm has been set off accidentally already, and they were very prompt, very courteous, very professional and very confident. I've had nothing but good experiences with Guardian Protection. My son in law was the person that researched and got Guardian for me.

Not knowingly the existing equipment is very old. They replaced none working sensors at the time. But after a few months, the other old sensors started acting up here and there. It is as if you were buying a new car but given a new car with a used engine, then you have to pay to repair the old engine. All in all, Guardian can be an excellent choice for people who value and prioritize hardware, equipment, and technology. Guardian Protection is a pretty big name in home security, despite only operating in twenty states.

No one is customer service seemed to see a problem and must have thought I was being unreasonable for not liking either option. I built my own home out here in the country side and since I'm a bit away from things and I live alone I thought it was a good thing to get a security system. The gentleman that came here to work on the property was very knowledgeable and went right to work. He was also considerate and asked me if I he could move things around a little to get the installation done. The equipment is the worst really, there have been a couple of times when I opened the door and the door alarm went off when I thought it shouldn't have. I'm learning how to use it and I'm learning fast, so now I feel more secure when I sleep. I'm overall very happy to have this security system.

I had another company in the past, I think they were called Frontpoint or something, where I had to set the whole system up myself and the technicians they did have were not even from our area. In contrast, Guardian Protection had local technicians and they did a really good job explaining everything that I needed to know.
